Krav Maga, as an easy-to-learn and effective self-defense system against all kinds of threats, is especially interesting and useful for those victims who, unfortunately, suffer violence and physical and verbal aggression more frequently and ferociously: women.
We, at KRAV MAGA GLOBAL OF FLORIDA, are truly honored to offer our professional services to the communities in South Florida and around the world, by providing comprehensive physical training techniques and tactical advice in the areas of security and self-defense instruction.
Krav Maga is a term translated (from Hebrew as “[קרב] krav, ‘combat’; y [מגע] maga, ‘contact’: ‘contact combat”), and was originally developed as an unarmed combat system by Imi Lichtenfeld (1910-1998), for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) due to its practicality, instinctive approach and effectiveness.

The system is composed of three fundamental pillars: personal defense, combat skills and tactics, third party protection or VIP. It is a practical and realistic system, which teaches how to avoid, prevent, detect or confront all kinds of violent situations, being developed under real conditions in Israel by Imi Lichtenfeld. This continues to develop thanks to his closest assistant and instructor of the highest level, Eyal Yanilov.
Krav Maga Global (KMG) is the largest Krav Maga organization in the world with more than 60 countries and almost 1,000 highly qualified instructors. The main focus of KMG are the military, civilian, police and VIP, professional and government sectors.
KMG Florida is constantly evolving and also meeting the needs of women, specifically the great need for self-defense and ways to deal with violence, stress and danger. Women in general suffer from different types and forms of threats, attacks and abuses from men.
Throughout the development and spread of the teaching of Krav Maga in Israel, the need arose for educating children and youth to the practice of self-defense in situations where they can be found in their day-to-day lives, between children and their classmates, as well as with adults.
